Her website also has nothing about using recycled or lab grown stones which jewelers who use them typically advertise.

2025-08-29 14:25:44 +0000 UTCNeed to clear some things up. Technically an old mine brilliant, can be cut from a lab grown or natural diamond, chemically they are the same. That said, it is harder to get the higher colors in lab grown(at least this was the case when I worked in Diamond factory 8 years ago) so for that reason alone it is unlikely to be lab grown. #2, this jeweler notably attends all the typical diamond/gem shows. No precious stones to my knowledge are 'ethically' sourced. A Blood diamond by definition is a diamond which is acquired outside the Kimberly certification process, and funds wars in specific regions as defined by the process, however if for instance a diamond is mined in Russia(one of the largest producers in the world) and helps fund massacres in Ukraine that is not considered a blood diamond. So. Moral grandstanding aside, Taylor had a natural diamond, it is EXTREMELY unlikely due to the cut(which though vintage inspired, is in fact the modern way an OMB is cut) that it is vintage and there's no sources except wacky no-nothing jewelers who have stated as such. (I can rant on but no one but me cares about this stuff so ill stop)

It’s obvious that finding the love of her life was her thing all along but I often thought of her comments on kids in Miss Americana and her lyrics like “The only kinda girl they see is a one-night or a wife” or “he wanted a bride, I wanted this pain”. I genuinely thought that she was kinda ok with not necessarily having it all right now or ever And now press is full of comments that Taylor and Travis want not only marriage but kids as well asap. But I was thinking - of course he had to buy her a giant ring and would get shit on if he didn’t. Then I saw the stats of it, kept thinking about it and realized it’s actually kinda small and modest for a ‘celebrity’ ring. Kim ks for example ring was much bigger and like 5 times the price. Taylor’s is more beautiful, classic and wearable I think it’s the perfect ring for Taylor! A rare, vintage diamond, a custom design by Travis. I read old mine diamonds were cut by candlelight, and aren’t meant to reflect light in the way diamonds do today, but they are meant to glimmer and shimmer specifically in candlelight, which is just so romantic and I’m sure will make its way into a song!
