Lasklustre tool set for conducting my biz:
Short story is that while I get a decent dose of distraction from Patreon I have no useful tools to serve me compared to my previous set up, namely:
no quick reply on DMs,
no pics in DM (FFS) so I can't sell easily,
the shop is too simple compared to Gumroad
I just end up telling people to go to IG
I need to be at my desktop, phone app is fumbly
So screw it. Besides,
I feel the main goal of patreon creators is something I already have. I have multi platform audiences and 25 years in the industry to top it off . What am I gaining here exactly?
I ain't gonna use here to do NSFW stuff for you to get off to which seems the way for many.
I thought here would be a new step but overall it offers nothing to me and is a time pit.
And even at $1 per month I feel I owe people and I hate that feeling.
Sum total: We're done here:
Instagram works like this: "You get what I give you, when I give you, and you can't complain."
This means when I post there are no strings attached and I want to do way more with no compulsion of making "value for your 1 dollar". It's way more fun.
