I need your suggestions! / Also update!
Added 2017-08-11 04:28:00 +0000 UTCSo we have finished 60 pages with your help and I just had a reread of the progress thus far. Here are some of the things I have learned or noticed:
Colouring:
I like the colouring style of the latest pages with GG more than the previous pages. The style is easier on the eyes and easier to maintain. Every now and then for some reason I take a trip into render land and over work it.
Pacing:
I fully realize that we have had a lot of history and character building over the last quite a few pages. many of the characters had issues that needed to be brought to light and I was craving some more depth to them. Mission accomplished. I do apologize if it was tedious, but it does open the possibility to some much more action orientated stories in the future.
Gradius and Izan Teen Story:
I've been thinking about this for a while , this story would detail how his uncle got expelled and also show a lot of antics that Izan and Gradius got into. Easy style, less talk more action.
GG origins story:
This would show where GG came from and her messed up family in Ironville and how they got arrested. Again more action and drama, GG would be 13 ish .
The 3rd Arc completion:
There are about 20 - 30 pages left in this arc , I have two potential places in the script to end it. The next parts are not wordy I promise you that. I'm leaning to the second option of 30 - 35 pages but after it's completion I will then ask you guys what you feel like.
I'm not perfect:
Everything from typos to art has problems hahah, but I assure you I am trying my hardest to make it the best I can. You 80 ~ 90 folks are helping me , and I wish there was a way to engage you more. Please leave your ideas below.
Taking a break?:
I will take a small break, maybe a month to accumulate pages and so I don't feel rushed. I like to be 10 pages ahead and I lost that since I had car stuff and SF stuff to do and teaching and family and etc etc. Remember, if I don't post any pages, you do not get charged!
There are rumblings of another SF Legends for me, which I would have to take, but again I promise to finish this arc.

I take the SF work so that I stay relevant, and I pay for bills with a combination of those jobs, commissions, and 5C. I am trying other things like teaching and car stuff to try and keep it going. I want to make certain I get this next part right, and I need time to polish it and plan it out properly since I only get one shot at this scene! Honestly I have written this next scene in about 6 different ways, and even today, i will write it again and see if i can make it more interesting.

2017-08-11 14:22:31 +0000 UTCI feel like 5C is just getting better and better with time, especially since you took some time to rehash it in a certain direction near the end of the second arc. Really great stuff. Having a GG origin story would be really great, I imagine it would also be pretty rough, possibly depressing and upsetting, but I would be all in for some more character depth and explanation. If you need a break to catch up, go right for it! All artists need some kind of cushion to help clean up our time. If you had to stop for a while to do a new Street Fighter project, that would be just fine as well. More money for doing art as I see it! Personally, seeing a new Legends would be exciting, especially since it's the series that helped me discover you (all the way back since Sakura!). But, I would always be up and ready for more 5C when you return to it. Honestly, anything you decide to do with this universe, I will look forward to, but the main story you have us following is incredibly enticing. I'll be sure to throw some fan art you way sooner or later... my tablet just died this morning so that puts in a bit of a production bump for me. Here's to new art equipment!! Totally agree that pacing-wise it's feeling like time for some present-day antics, and at the same time the recent history stuff has definitely helped - particularly Grad and Izan, I feel like those 2 being such good friends now makes sense :) So showing things down for a bit is worthwhile to spend some time building up that kind of stuff! I feel like the Patreon format now makes it harder to comment and engage in individual pages. I don't know what the solution to that is, just observing that I eagerly await the pages here but then by the time I'm reading them I'm gone from Patreon, having copied a link, downloaded some files etc. Better quality than the days of clicking "next" on DeviantArt, bit more friction to comment as you go on pages! Not got a solution, just observing ;) I'm hoping we'll see Laleh's plot line meet up with the others soon! She feels like a separate story at the moment, but I know you're waaaay ahead on having the plot worked out, so I'm excited to see how she is linked to Grad and co! Ok, long rambly comment over :) Still loving 5C, my favourite thing you do, and a close second are the live videos on IG of you, like, frying some beans or making a sandwich and stuff XD
