In an effort to keep things civil and honest, grad easily falls for a few quick questions which can compromise this impression and expose him.
Every now and then you come across a person who can pull certain answers out of you you might not have wanted to give, Viveen is that type of person. She will not hesitate to say an off side comment or slightly loaded question to get a response she wants.
It's was important for grad to change the subject and try to gain control of the conversation to slow her down.
All these little nuances, I wonder if anyone notices hahaha!

Yeah, I caught this when reading this part. I absolutely loved how it was done because I've certainly been there myself more or less. It's funny to watch it happen to someone else, but not so fun it the hot-seat. Your subtle character builds are great to read!
