Chapter Debrief | Session 𝓢eventy-Two

Hi Lusties, I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. I apologize for the delays today. I made a lot of corrections/edits to chapter seventy-two, which luckily made it longer than expected. This chapter was a little over 6000 words, so it was one of the longer ones.

There's a lot to discuss here. First up is Liberty's hair. Monroe sending the staff out of the room and getting on her knees was definitely a way to handle it.

But Ro doing Liberty's hair herself was so cute overall.

I know many of you probably assumed the first arrangement would show up at this event. Eliza probably startled a lot of you, but it turns out she's one of Monroe's closest friends. How do we feel about Eliza? Or the fact that Ro has been talking about Liberty?

The whole Sarai situation is not aging well here.

Playing the piano in place of Monroe was also another cute moment in this chapter. Ro was so proud of Liberty, and this entire scene managed to piss off Monroe's parents, so we love.

The ending of this chapter was probably the only bad moment we had here.

Talia Marin. A lot of you assumed she was dead or that she was alive and would show up.

I even heard speculations of a suicide, but it was an overdose the entire time. What do we think about Monroe's reaction? Do you have any further predictions about Talia's death? Book club is officially in session, Lusties💗

EDIT: Hi my loves. I wanted to add this edit in here because it feels like Liberty was very misunderstood here. I know a lot of you are upset that she walked away from Monroe, but this wasn’t for a random or small reason. The possibility of Monroe killing someone else was very overwhelming, as it would be for most people in that situation. Yes, Ro was breaking down, but so was Liberty, and she said internally that they were both lost at sea and she couldn’t help Monroe right now. Liberty’s reaction to all of this is 100% human, especially after the Maricel situation that occurred just days prior to all of this. Libs is also struggling with nightmares and anxiety from everything with Maricel, so this new situation naturally made her spiral, understandably so<33
