There's definitely a lot to unpack here... like the bar and Liberty constantly resorting to alcohol.
Or Monroe finding her and taking her back to her house.
Also, the chasing??? That was a moment.
A small detail to add, if anyone noticed—the two different chases in this chapter contrasted one another.
It shows the emotional switch that happened between them after talking. The first chase was tenser with a lot more anxiety, while the second chase at the end was lighthearted and playful.
It was one of my favorite moments, along with the conversation they had. I'm sure it gave a lot of you clarity. There have been requests about Monroe's past, and this was another slice of it. Of course, there's more to come with that later down the line.
A lot of you also thought Maricel was a patient, so I'm happy to know I tricked some of you😭
