Case File Name:
Back To Normal.
♤Chapter Seventy-Five♤
I carefully tied the sheer black skirt around my waist—which covered me partially but still exposed the bikini I wore under.
It was a white two-piece with a white flower sewn onto one of the left strings of the triangle top—and another sewn onto the middle of the bottoms.
I kept my dark hair down which framed my bare face, and I made sure to grab my Chanel glasses before heading downstairs where I knew Tazmin was already with the twins and Marie.
And as my black Chanel slides clicked against the floors, my attention remained on my phone.
But only for a moment so I could check any emails and then unplug for the rest of the day.
Luckily, everything seemed normal at work, Ivanna just mentioned some revisions we would need to make on Monday to one of our current cases.
I suddenly glanced up from my phone as I walked outside under the beating sun, noticing Tazmin standing with Mav near the grill.
Meanwhile, Vic was laid out with Marie who wore a brown two-piece triangle bikini with a Louis Vuitton silk scarf tied around her head.
A slow smile unconsciously grew on my lips as I approached my girlfriend who seemed to be in the midst of a conversation with Mav.
And I couldn't help but openly check out her perfect body.
From the black triangle bikini top that exposed her toned Abs—to the matching flowy pants hanging low on her waist.
Her blonde hair was pulled into a low ponytail with a middle part, which easily accentuated every beautiful feature of her sharp face.
I honestly wish I wouldn't have insisted on sleeping twenty more minutes or I would've gotten the opportunity to hold her hostage in her room for a little longer.
"Hi baby," I said, my soft tone lowered as my hands found their way around her waist—leaning into the back of her body.
Tazmin immediately turned her head, "Hi beautiful," she said, running her hands over mine that rested on her lower stomach, "How was the rest of your nap?"
I pressed a kiss to her shoulder, "Not worth missing you dressed like this," I subtly murmured in her ear.
And I couldn't help but smile when I noticed Mav shaking his head to himself.
"Can you guys take that over there?" Mav motioned to the general area of the pool.
Which earned a laugh from me—he's clearly still reeling from his break-up with Mila.
Who I haven't seen in ages.
I think she's avoiding hanging out with us because of any awkwardness with Mav, which I get honestly.
"Tell me you haven't put on sunscreen yet," Tazmin said to me, which earned an eye roll from Mav as he grabbed the half-smoked blunt from behind his ear.
"I saved it just for you," I told her, which immediately made Tazmin turn around and walk us over to one of the white cushioned beach chairs.
But of course, I had to say a brief hi to Marie and Vic who both answered in a tired mumble.
I'm ninety-nine percent sure they were sleeping.
I smiled as Tazmin turned around to finally lay eyes on me—and I could easily feel her stare divert down to my exposed body.
Especially as I untied my mesh skirt and slipped off my sandals.
"This is cute," Tazmin said, stepping towards me as she played with the strings of my bottoms, "A little revealing but cute."
My smile grew amused, "It's a swimsuit, Tazmin," I pointed out as I stared up at her through my sunglasses.
Tazmin slid her hands past my waist, reaching down to grip my ass, "You know I don't like sharing," she said as she leaned down closer to my face, "And now everyone gets to see what I see at night."
I tilted my head, "Just night?" I whispered, my voice lowered and my short nails unconsciously trailing up her toned stomach.
Tazmin's lips spread into an amused smile, "We can make it afternoon—just let me take you upstairs baby," she murmured, closing the gap between our faces to place a soft kiss on my lips.
I hummed against her lips, "We have guests," I reminded her.
Tazmin smiled slightly as she pulled back from the brief kiss, "We?" she emphasized, sliding her hands down to the back of my thighs that she gently squeezed, "I like the sound of that."
I smiled even wider when she leaned down to kiss my lips yet again, "I like the sound of that too," I whispered, drawing her in closer to my body by her waist.
Tazmin hummed as she trailed kisses past my lips to my cheek, "Lay down for me baby," she whispered so softly in my ear.
Which was enough to make me feel hotter than I already do under this unbearable sun.
"I know what you're doing," I said, pulling away from her to lay down on the cushioned chair that Tazmin laid a towel across earlier, "If we're playing a game just say the word and I'll win it."
"No one's trying to play a game sweetheart," she said, reaching into the bag off to the side and grabbing the bottle of sunscreen, "I just like watching the cute reactions I get out of you."
I rolled my eyes as I slid my sunglasses off and set them to the side, "At what cost?" I mumbled sarcastically, laying my cheek against the towel.
And I couldn't help but inaudibly gasp as soon as the coolness of her hands covered in sunscreen ran up my warm back.
"No cost," Tazmin said as she kneaded her fingers so perfectly into my back, "But I know you'll be ready for me later."
My thighs unconsciously tightened together, "Cut it out Tazmin," I nearly whined, now trying to relax under her touch.
"But it's so cute when you're frustrated baby," Tazmin murmured, running her hands down to rub the sunscreen across my ass and thighs, "I can't help myself."
I hummed tightly, "Until I refuse to let you touch me," I subtly pointed out.
Which slowly made Tazmin's hands halt against the back of my thighs, "Did you just threaten your own girlfriend?" she asked offensively, which made a smile grow on my face, "Keep smiling and I'll spank you, Milena."
I jokingly scoffed, "Did you just threaten your own girlfriend, Tazmin?" I mocked her words back to her.
"Only with a good time," Tazmin countered.
And I couldn't help but gasp slightly when Tazmin lightly smacked my ass—immediately feeling an annoying heat burn in my lower stomach from her actions.
"What you said was a real fucking threat," Tazmin pointed out as she drew her hands down the back of my legs, rubbing in the rest of the sunscreen, "Now turn around," she said, and even the three simple words were enough to send my thoughts into a spiral.
I swear she could say anything and all I can think about is her fucking me.
A long sigh fell from my lips as I turned around on my back for her, watching as she poured more sunscreen into her hands.
And I couldn't help but raise a brow when she ran her hands up my stomach, rubbing the white sunscreen in before reaching up to my chest.
Which easily made my jaw tighten in restraint, easily affected by her rubbing her hands so perfectly over my cleavage.
"How's that baby?" Tazmin asked as she ran her hands back down to my stomach.
Lower stomach specifically.
And trailed her fingers across the hem of my bottoms.
"My legs," I motioned down further, narrowing my light eyes at her.
Which made Tazmin immediately run her hands down to my thighs, rubbing more sunscreen onto my thighs.
And inner thighs.
Which made me unconsciously squirm under her touch—especially when she parted my legs wider for her roaming hands.
"Lower," I said as soon as she trailed her hands further up my inner thighs.
Tazmin's lips twitched up slightly, "Of course baby," she said, never once glancing away from me as she rubbed sunscreen into my legs and ankles.
Until she was finally done teasing every inch of me.
"Satisfied?" I said, wrapping my legs around her body and pulling her into me.
Tazmin smiled as she stared down at me, "Very satisfied," she murmured, leaning down to press a soft kiss to my lips, "Now your beautiful skin won't get sunburned," she added as she pulled away from my lips.
And glanced past me to the back doors.
"Gi," Tazmin suddenly said with a growing smile.
And I couldn't help but draw in a slight breath, forgetting that Gia had been invited to this last-minute pool day.
"I made cocktails," I heard Gia say as she walked closer to us all.
I smiled as soon as Gia came into my viewpoint, wearing a white Prada one-piece as she set down a drink on the table beside me.
And judging by the pineapple on the side of the rim, it looked to be a frozen pina colada.
"This looks fucking amazing," I said, immediately picking up the drink.
"Wait don't try it yet—I have to give Marie hers," Gia said, quickly running over to my sleeping best friend, who immediately woke up at the mention of alcohol.
Meanwhile, Vic was now over with Mav by the grill opening a cooler filled with ice and drinks.
"Come grab one of these Taz!" Vic called out as he motioned my girlfriend over.
"I'll be back baby," Tazmin told me, pressing a fleeting kiss to my lips now drawn into a frown.
"Wow, so you're just going to leave me here looking like this?" I said, motioning down to my exposed body.
Tazmin's lips spread into an amused smile as she pressed a kiss to my chest, "You do look fucking incredible," she murmured, now pressing a kiss to my stomach which made me squirm slightly, "I'll only be a minute," she assured me, gently untangling herself from my legs.
And I couldn't help but let out a defeated sigh as Gia approached me after watching Marie's reaction to her frozen cocktail.
"Okay now try it," Gia said as she sat down beside me where Tazmin previously was.
Except my legs were now stretched out in front of me.
"I have high expectations," I joked, raising a brow at her as I picked up the drink to take a sip.
"You should," Gia countered back jokingly as she watched me try the drink.
And just as I imagined, it tasted like a pina colada, but somehow better.
It tasted so sweet and the pineapple flavor was really strong—I couldn't taste a hint of alcohol in it.
"I love this," I said as I lowered the straw from my lips.
Gia's smile immediately grew wider, "Good because I just spent at least ten minutes trying to find Taz's blender," she said, which immediately earned a laugh from me.
"So fucking worth it," I said as I took another sip.
Gia nodded a few times, briefly glancing over in the direction of the twins and Tazmin.
"Do you mind if we talk really fast?" Gia asked, suddenly glancing back over to me, "I just feel like it's weird between us and I can't tell if I make you uncomfortable," she said, lowering her voice into a softer whisper.
I pursed my lips slightly, unsure of how to respond to what she just said, "I mean... it's definitely a little weird, but I think eventually it'll all go back to normal," I assured her.
Gia slid her sunglasses away from her face, staring directly into my green eyes, "Are you positive? Because if you're uncomfortable I can try to distance—"
"Gia that's entirely unnecessary," I quickly cut her short with a raised brow, "I'm not uncomfortable at all—like you said, it's just a little weird right now."
Gia nodded a few times, "Right—okay, yeah," she whispered mostly to herself.
And I couldn't help but feel slightly remorseful, mostly because of Gia's offer to distance herself from her sister for the sake of my comfort—and now the awkward look on her face.
I don't think I've ever witnessed her this quiet before.
"How are you?" I suddenly asked, wanting to make sure she was doing well too, "Is there anything new?"
Gia smiled slightly, "Well, I met this guy at my favorite cafe. You know that one—"
"The place me and Tazmin tried," I said, recalling how incredible the coffee and pastries were.
Gia nodded a few times, "Yeah well he paid for my coffee when I forgot my wallet back at the hospital—life of a fucking surgeon I guess," she said, which earned a small laugh from me as I took another sip of my drink.
"Well he already seems nice," I said as I drank more of my frozen cocktail.
Gia nodded a few times, "He is—I might invite him on my upcoming trip to Ibiza with Mila since she's bringing her recent hook-up too," she said, pursing her lips slightly as she glanced over to where Mav stood, "Just don't tell Mav that or he might randomly pop up."
I laughed slightly, "Oh so they're all crazy?" I joked, glancing over to Tazmin and the twins.
Gia nodded with a laugh, "Yeah, they don't play around," she said as I naturally glanced over, noticing Tazmin approaching us.
Which immediately made Gia stand so Tazmin could take her spot back by my side.
"How was her cocktail?" Tazmin asked as she glanced between us.
I nodded as I took another sip of my drink, "Ten out of ten," I said, wrapping my legs back around Tazmin's waist.
"See, now you have to try one, Taz," Gia said with a raised brow.
My girlfriend jokingly rolled her eyes, "I guess so," she said as she ran one of her hands up and down my leg, "Let me finish this first and I got you," she told Gia.
And I couldn't help but raise a brow as I eyed the Corona in her hand.
"I didn't know you drank beer?" I said, eyeing the bottle in her hand.
I've never liked beer—but then again I've never tried it.
I don't really have to, I know I wouldn't like it.
"It's not my go-to but Mav and Vic brought them," Tazmin said, now extending the glass bottle out to me, "Try a sip," she offered.
I immediately shook my head, feeling my nose scrunch up, "I'm good," I said, nudging the bottle back to her.
My girlfriend tilted her head slightly with an amused smile, "Then I'm not trying one of Gi's cocktails," she purposely said.
Which earned a dramatic gasp from her sister—who was now laying a towel down on one of the chairs next to us.
"But you have to," Gia said, narrowing her dark eyes at Tazmin, "Lena tell her—"
"I'll just try the fucking beer," I cut Gia short, eyeing my girlfriend in disapproval.
Which only made Tazmin's amused smile grow as she leaned the glass bottle up to my lips.
And as I took a small—very fucking small sip, Tazmin carefully watched me, analyzing my face as I swallowed the sip I took.
"It tastes... like metal?" I said with furrowed brows, immediately grabbing my fruity drink to wash the taste away.
Tazmin smiled slightly when I scrunched up my nose even more, taking an even longer sip of my drink without the straw
"You're so fucking cute," Tazmin said as she carefully wiped the sides of my mouth for me.
I only shook my head, "I'm never trying beer again just so you know," I said with a raised brow.
"As long as Taz tries one of my cocktails now," Gia added, which earned a nod from her sister.
"I am—you can thank my girlfriend for that one," she said, which immediately made Gia's brows raise in surprise.
"No fucking way," Gia said with a growing smile, "You guys are finally back together?" she asked, standing from her chair.
Tazmin nodded with an amused smile as Gia quite literally happy-danced over to us, "Mil beat me to it this time," she said, leaning down to lay on my stomach.
"This calls for more cocktails right fucking now," Gia said, happily walking off toward the house to make us more drinks.
Meanwhile, Tazmin settled between my legs, resting her head on my stomach as I gently scratched my nails up and down her back.
"It's on you if I fall asleep," Tazmin said, nuzzling her cheek into my stomach.
I lazily hummed as I closed my eyes, "I could go for another nap," I determined as I got comfortable in the cushioned chair underneath me, "We just need the umbrella out."
Tazmin immediately nodded, pulling back from my body to stand from our shared chair and open the umbrella.
Which shielded the hot sun away so perfectly as Tazmin laid back down in between my legs, sliding her arms around my waist as I began gently scratching her back again.
And that's exactly how we remained for the next couple hours—sometimes sipping on our mixed drinks or exchanging brief kisses.
Tazmin would even trail kisses across my stomach every so often.
We also managed to get in the pool with Marie and Vic after a while—discussing various things with them as I stood in front of Tazmin with her arms draped around my waist.
Somehow, we ended up talking ourselves into a double date with Marie and Vic.
Or mostly Marie who insisted on us all going out since Tazmin and I are now back together.
I've never gone to an NBA game considering I'm not that interested in basketball—but suddenly, I felt excited to tag along by Tazmin's side.
Especially since I would get to experience court side seats and watch the game with my closest friends.
But I'll never admit to Vic that I consider him and Mav as my closest friends now.
I would never hear the fucking end of it.
"I love your hair baby," I whispered, gently rinsing the conditioner out of Tazmin's soft blonde hair.
We had just finished up at the pool only thirty minutes ago, and after getting everything back inside and saying our goodbyes to everyone—Tazmin and I immediately got in the shower to start geting ready for the game later.
"And I love your hair," Tazmin said, turning around to face me as soon as I finished rinsing the remainder of the conditioner out of her hair, "It's always so shiny and soft," she murmured, sliding her arms around waist.
I smiled slightly as I stared up at her, "I love your face too," I said, trailing my hands up her toned arms.
"I love your eyes," Tazmin said as she slowly guided me back to the nearest shower wall, "The prettiest shade of green I've ever laid eyes on is in them."
My smile grew wider when she leaned down to press a soft kiss on my lips, which made me unconsciously tilt my head back for more.
"I love your lips," I murmured, leaning up to graze my lips against hers, "How soft they are or how they fit so perfectly against mine."
Tazmin lips twitched up slightly, "I love you," she whispered so softly against my lips, drawing her hands up my back as she held me closer to her, "I love your entire existence—the air you breathe and your heart that beats in your chest."
I smiled wider as soon as she gently kissed my lips yet again, parting my legs wider with her body.
And as soon as she pulled one of my legs around her waist and angled our warm cores to press together—I officially felt needy.
Like I hadn't been touched in days when Tazmin had just fucked me only hours ago.
But I also wanted to bask in this moment—to go slow and take my time with her.
A moan vibrated in my throat when Tazmin began grinding against me, deepening our kiss as she guided my hips to her pace that I matched.
"I love you," I breathed out against her lips, wrapping my hands around her neck that I gently squeezed.
Which earned a beautiful moan from her as she continued our slow and gentle pace, sending me up closer to my peak.
Especially when we both naturally grew wetter against each other with the hot shower steam growing around us.
I unconsciously opened my legs wider for more of her, wanting to feel her everywhere and fucking more.
"Please don't stop baby," I moaned against her lips, feeling my chest rise and fall with each breath I took.
"Never," Tazmin murmured, trailing kisses past my swollen lips to my neck that she nipped and sucked at.
I furrowed my brows as soon as my body naturally tensed against her, "Oh my god," I moaned out, scratching my nails down her back as I fell into my orgasm.
Which somehow grew even stronger when Tazmin fell into her orgasm with me—kissing my neck so softly in between deep moans.
Somehow it felt like close wasn't close enough with Tazmin, I could only pull her closer and closer to me until our bodies were pressed together.
And even then I still needed her closer.
I let out a breathless sigh as my body slowly relaxed back against the cold shower wall, basking in the aftermath of my orgasm that left a beautiful warmth glowing around me.
A soft smile grew on my lips when Tazmin pressed a soft kiss to the center of my chest that she later nuzzled her cheek against—holding me tightly to her for a few more moments as I hugged her back.
Until soon, we had to get dressed for the NBA game we agreed to attend with Vic and Marie.
And I didn't wear anything crazy—just a strapless black jumpsuit that clung to my curves.
I wore my long hair down with my usual dainty silver jewelry and my silver Rolex watch.
I also decided to wear the white open-toed chunky heels that had the small black Chanel logo littered all over them.
They were a gift from Tazmin just this morning.
Ever since I took her out on that date a few nights ago and got her roses and that new AP watch—she's been showering me with gifts daily.
Today it was heels, yesterday it was a trip to Sephora where she paid the total.
The day before that it was a new iMac that she already had set up for me in my office.
I truly have never felt this fucking spoiled in my entire life.
"You look so good baby," I said as I eyed Tazmin standing by my open door.
She wore a Lakers tee that was dangerously cropped and exposed her toned stomach—with baggy black jeans that hung loosely on her waist and purple Jordans that matched her shirt.
Her wavy blonde hair which I previously brushed out for her was now covered by a snapback while she wore minimal makeup on her face.
Ever her jewelry shined so perfectly—specifically, the watch I had recently gifted her.
"We can take this to the backseat," Tazmin subtly offered as she gently grabbed my hand and helped me out of the passenger seat of her G-Wagon.
"We're already running behind," I reminded her, leaning in to briefly kiss her lips and then her soft cheek as she closed the car door.
"Exactly we're already late—and that one piece is begging to be taken off of your beautiful body," Tazmin said as she slid her arm around my waist, walking with me through the parking garage.
"More like you're begging," I emphasized with an amused smile as I leaned into her side.
Tazmin hummed as she pressed a soft kiss to my temple, "I'm not denying it," she murmured in my ear as we approached the doors to enter the stadium.
And I couldn't help but grow excited as we made our way through security and the concessions, later finding our courtside seats where Vic and Marie already sat.
Except Vic already had nachos and a drink while Marie sipped on a vodka Red Bull and ate some of his nachos.
"I think this is the first time I've witnessed Vic sharing his food," I said, gently nudging Tazmin who laughed slightly.
"Yeah this a first for me too," she said, sliding her arm to rest at the back of my chair.
Marie shook her head as she chewed her food slightly, "Vic knows that if he doesn't share—I'm not sharing back," she emphasized, which immediately earned a nod from Vic who was focused on eating his nachos that he also fed to Marie.
"We can always order more anyways," Vic determined as he took a sip of his drink, focusing on the game that was about to start.
"If only he had discovered that he could do the same thing with Mav," Tazmin subtly whispered in my ear, which earned a laugh from me.
Mostly because Mav and Vic act less like twins and more like they're both the only child of their family.
They never share anything.
I would've hated being around them growing up.
"This is a promising start though," I told Tazmin with an amused smile growing on my face, briefly kissing her cheek as she guided both my legs to rest over her one.
"You know we can hear you guys talking about us right?" Vic said as I leaned into Tazmin's side and got more comfortable in my seat.
"You and Mav are bad at sharing though," Marie said, smiling slightly when Vic gave her a narrowed look.
"I'm going to get more nachos before the game starts," Vic said as he handed the half-eaten nachos to Marie.
"Oh, can you get me another vodka Red Bull babe?" Marie asked Vic, briefly kissing his lips before he stood up fully.
"And I really want some sour gummy worms," I added which earned an amused look from my girlfriend.
"Yeah, I see where Nads gets it from," Tazmin said.
I raised a brow, "Or maybe she rubbed her addiction off on me," I twisted her words back to her.
Vic lazily raised his brows at us, "A vodka Red Bull, Trolli's for Lena—and Taz did you need anything while I'm fucking at it?" he asked my girlfriend.
Who only shrugged, "Just a water," she told him, leaning even closer to me as I played with her blonde hair.
At least until the game officially started.
Then I was happily eating the Trolli's Vic got me as I watched the game.
Although, somehow me eating Trolli's made everyone want some—so I ended up sharing them not just with Tazmin, but with Vic and Marie too.
Which I had to pretend not to be childishly upset about.
Even if I was—they were the berry-flavored ones too.
Tazmin actually ended up heading out to the concessions during halftime to buy us all our own bags—except she got me an extra bag since everyone basically ate all of my last one.
Which meant I didn't do that great of a job at hiding how irritated sharing made me feel.
At least not to Tazmin.
But otherwise, the rest of the game went really well and the Lakers won too.
We even went to a nearby diner to eat and celebrate their win—enjoying the rest of our night before we inevitably parted ways with Vic and Marie.
And I honestly couldn't be happier as I sat in the passenger seat, holding Tazmin's hand that I played with in my lap.
I even began humming to the Partynextdoor song playing throughout the car as Tazmin drove us back to her place where I knew we would inevitably fall asleep as soon as we hit her bed.
Mostly because I still felt tired from our pool day, and the meal at that diner also put me into a food coma.
But it was all so fucking worth it.
Tonight was worth it—and I couldn't have had more fun today.
It finally feels like Tazmin and I are truly settling in as a couple.
And it's all so different than before...
It feels like we're closer than we've ever been.
