I recently discovered all my stories; my entire Patreon page has been pirated and posted on a third-party website. From the looks of it, this pirate creates an account every month, pirates the new content, and then deletes their account.

I thought having an incredibly low subscription fee would prevent the need for this type of activity, but here we are. This feels like a personal attack. I deliberately didn't make this an expensive account because I wanted to share these stories with people who would appreciate them, but stealing them from me is like a punch to the gut. I'm not getting rich from these stories; I don't think I've even made enough money to cover the cost of the laptop I use to write the stories with.

I'm taking steps to remove the content, but from what I've read, it's a losing battle. It was suggested that I raise the subscription tier prices, and after looking into that, I'm going to do exactly that. Don't worry, though. You will remain at the original pricing if you're already subscribed and stay subscribed. Moving forward, any "new" subscribers will have to accept the doubled fee.

Hopefully, this will, at the very least, prevent future stories from being pirated.
