Hello Everyone! This week I have some quick Latex pinups along with some images and a gif of a thing I was curious trying...
I ended up taking the week relatively easy at home since work was much busier than normal, but I ended up getting some somewhat simple stuff that I tried out done and an experiment that I wanted to see if I could get working. First there was the transparent latex catsuit that I was able to do very easily by changing a few of the material settings that was on the original black catsuit. In the end I think I could have eased up a tiny bit on reducing the alpha, but I still think it came out fine. Next was the (attempt at a) retracting suit. At first I was going to try to achieve that effect through shapekeys, but recalling the sometimes despairing experiences I had with those while working on the symbiote series, I wanted to try a different way. So I tried setting up a new armature with segmented bones to do this. My first issue was that I probably should have just had a mesh specifically for each section of the head or something because now I didn't really know how to get a separation without it just being a mask that gets enabled. I don't really find the end result that bad, but it's not as smooth as I would have hoped. I also had the issue that while having two armature bound to the suit mesh, it seemed that blender doesn't really like that and acts weird when I move the character rig, so for the time being I kinda just left it to being headshots. For now I'll leave it at that. What do you all think? Enjoy!
