For the most part, these forms mostly differ visually by the body markings and horns, but will have much more powerful abilities. The last image is a wip of the highest evolution of the Latexite. Recently before going to bed I've been adding more and more to my Latexite planning doc, currently I stand at ~3k words and 15 chapters roughly planned out. I've got a volume and a half-ish planned each of which is about the corruption of one of the characters. Pretty excited for it so far. It also has come to have a erotic horror feel to it which I didn't really set out to have at first but nonetheless welcome as it feels relatively unique (to me). Some elements of body horror and cosmic horror are also present during the corruption and transformation process. If you all would like, at some point I could explain a bit how I'm envisioning the Latexite substance to work (it will have some explanations in the story itself).
