0.16.3 Delay Reminder/Progress Report

Hey all, just keeping you in the loop by reminding you that the next update is delayed a week due to work needed for the winner of the content focus poll results:

The SFW variants and NSFW variants of the first real planned yuri CG/HCG outline this very thoroughly through the captions, so I'll not give more of a summary than Britney leverages knowing Zach likes gender bender as a kink for an erotic role play of their own that gets a bit too real with blurred lines between the roles and the people.

There will also be a prelude scene of Zach demoing his chest binder cooling system at dinner, only for the ice water in the cooling reservoir to be too cold and for a jostled bump to loosed one of the caps on the cooling bladders, causing Zach's shirt to form a wet spot akin to a lactation leak that causes them to finish eating early to take care of that and preparing for how Zoey is almost certainly getting periods. Britney finds the gender bender doujins as she opens Zach's bedside drawer to store the tampons and pads, which is where the sex scene begins.

Because I have to spend likely a week polishing the art and it will be a three (two)-week development period, I might not get to the prelude scene in this release without going into overtime, which I am really starting to hate doing. But if you all are okay with that and still want to vote for this option anyways, that's fine.

All the art has been edited (mostly for consistency and to make the background darker, which looks a lot better IMO), turned into PNGs, and put in-game with LayeredImage code, but the scene is still being written (although those URLs above have outlined the scene well enough that I have a very good idea of how to proceed).

I am honestly a bit behind schedule, as a recent snafu with new antidepressants turned me into a vegetable for a day or two, I got sick with COVID-19 again and it heavily reduced my output for a week, and I also got PMS in the middle of that and was stuck to a bed for an entire day, but there's enough time left and I have recovered enough to the point that I still expect the update coming out on time for September 8th (although I am going to have to work more and harder to make that goal, so another setback would definitely cause a delay).

But speaking of art...

There's also a new unique variant of the tattered XL hoodie outfit for Zoey showing Britney just how much Zach's body changed. Yes, it works with the SFW filter on to keep the boxers in place.

You can check the attachment for a video to see it in-use (alongside new writing added while polishing up Britney's intro), but I think it looks quite nice. Shout outs to Myumi once again for the outfit.

As for the prelude to the new sex scene... the dinner conversation beforehand deals with food allergies... or rather, Britney's genetic dislike of cilantro and Zach lying about being allergic to peanut butter so people would stop trying to get him to eat it.

Beyond being the first namedrop of a character many loved from the Britney outline, there's a bit of clever writing (:SmugLesbianWriter:) with this short scene thematically linking the surface-level talk about disliking food to Britney's lesbianism and Zach's gender identity. Yes, I love being clever, and much like Zach feels about his sabbatical, I often ask myself what the point of doing something is if I don't get to boast about it.

God, we're such former gifted children, aren't we?
