Video Ideas & Monthly D&D Games

Monthly D&D Games

It's no secret that my workload is extraordinarily high, and for some time now I've been struggling to keep my head above the water. So, in an effort to keep my sanity, I've been examining my activities for areas where I can gain back time, and one of them has been the monthly D&D one-shot games I run for patrons.

Since very few patrons express interest in these games month to month and they take up a large chunk of my time, I've decided that I'll need to to discontinue them. I'm sorry for those who were looking forward to playing and didn't get the chance. However, I simply need to cut back or other areas of my life will continue to suffer; I hope you all understand.

March Patron Video

The winner from last month's voting was "What to do when players decide to do something you haven't planned." Look for that in March!

Comments

Perhaps you could still hold the games with other members of your team (like Goliath Cleric) running them.

Cognoscente

Commenting belatedly, but I also really enjoyed the one I got to do, but I can imagine it takes a lot of work on top of everything else. Thanks for the opportunity :)

I was super excited when I got to join one the first month after I joined your Patreon, and surprised I managed to get into a second one in January, but if you have such low interest I guess it makes sense. Especially given how many people signed up for the last one I was in and then just ...didn't engage at all :/ Too bad but it's understandable. I'll have to find somewhere else to get my 1-shot adventures 😂

Anna R Dunster

Right now I'm only planning to continue running my Ancient Dragon patron game.

Thank you, Robin. I appreciate the support!

Yeah, they are a bit of work. :D Glad you got to play in one and that you're enjoying the magazine! :D

You do great work Luke! I’ve been a fan for years and just today rejoined your Patreon. Don’t beat yourself up! Life is extraordinarily busy. You need to take care of yourself first.

Robin Gomez

I'm honored I had the chance to play in one when I first became a Patron, but ultimately never found time to join another, and I can only imagine the cat wrangling that must go into each one, so it makes sense. Loving this month's magazine.

Geoff Gilbert

Would you consider opening some up later as time permits?
