Pathfinder 2e Content Coming!!!

For folks trying out Pathfinder 2e (PF2) content, or considering the switch from D&D 5e to PF2, my team and I are working hard to make our resources compatible with PF2 ASAP!

First, I want to stress that the content we create for patrons (Lair Magazine, stand-alone adventures, etc.) will continue to be compatible with D&D 5e. We know that almost all of you are here for 5e content, so we will 100% continue to provide that.

However, there is also a growing interest in Pathfinder 2e, including on my part and my team's part. (In fact, the game Zac runs for many of us is moving to PF2 in our next game session.)

Thus, our plan is to make the content we publish also compatible with Pathfinder 2e (Lair Magazine, stand-alone adventures, etc.). That is, as a DM Lair patron, the content you receive will work for both D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e.

How Do We Get There?

Since my team and I are still learning Pathfinder 2e, an immediate transition just isn't feasible. We want to ensure that what we publish is top-notch quality, as you our patrons have come to expect. So, this is our plan:

We are enlisting the aid of Mark Seifter, one of the lead co-designers of Pathfinder 2, to help our team get up to speed on creating PF2 content, considering elements such as encounter and monster design.

Starting in March 2023, we will make some portions of Lair Magazine compatible with Pathfinder 2e. However, they will not be published in the official PDFs. Instead, they will be made available as  "unofficial launch" material, simple PDFs without any fancy layout or images. This will allow us to quickly get PF2 material out to folks who want it and allow the DM Lair team to develop expertise with PF2 before it starts going into official publications.

By April or May 2023, we will aim to make everything in Lair Magazine compatible with Pathfinder 2e. This content will continue to be made available as "unofficial launch" material and not be published in the official PDFs.

By August 2023, we will officially publish Lair Magazine and other patron content compatible with both D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e. The resources patrons get will be useable for both systems!
