First Roll20 Adventure Now Available!

Our first Roll20 adventure is now available: The Hobgoblin's Wife

System: D&D 5e
Starting Level: 4
Characters: 4-6
Length: 3-5 hours

The adventure has everything you need to play from tokens to monster stat blocks to NPCs to area descriptions. It has dynamic lighting as well! Everything you need is included.

We plan to continue creating more content on Roll20, and we'll let folks know as it's rolled out. You can also check our publisher page at any time to see everything we have: The DM Lair Roll20 Publisher Page

Hope you enjoy!

P.S. I was really hoping to be able to off a discount of some sort to patrons for the Roll20 content we plan to create, but I've learned that Roll20 straight up does not have that functionality on their platform. So, unless my source and Google-fu is mistaken, I won't be able to do that. :( (And if I am mistaken, and there is a way, please let me know. :D )

P.S.S. But wouldn't it be great if Roll20's marketplace had this functionality that seems to be ubiquitous on pretty much every other sales platform out there? (No, not salty or disappointed at all. Not in the least.)

Every VTT has their own issues. Luke has complained plenty of times about R20, with good reasons. As do people complain with good reason about Foundry, Astral, etc, etc, etc. The biggest problem Foundry has, imo, is no official D&D content and a potentially steep learning curve, plus the whole self-hosting-tech knowledge thing.

Totally makes sense to take the baby steps. Roll20 is definitly is the 1st one to tackle. I might start using Roll20 more in the future for pre-purchased games like this. Typically, i also use Foundry when DMing but it can be a hassle in its own way lol. Would products like this be available in the future via the DM Lair store for use in other VTTs or is are these products going to be Roll20 or other VTT marketplace exclusives?

Thomas Frato

Potentially in the future. However, we are taking baby steps, slowly expanding our offerings as we have capacity and as there is customer demand. Roll20 is first on our list. Other platforms may (or may not) follow.

Query; is there an interest to have this "migrated" to other platforms as well? Eg FoundryVTT? I could make the Foundry world, if people are interested.
