The language one sounds interesting. Languages are really cool, but sometimes in games it feels like its punishing to players if they don't know a certain language you decided to hide a plot point behind (you find a note written by the lord your suspicious of while searching their desk.. no one knows undercommon? nevermind then) A new to d and D player just started playing and she put way to much thought into picking an extra language, I kind of feel I need to find a relevant way for it to matter, because sometimes it can easily never come up.
