That 6-pin cable looks to me like a Leslie cable: there are two ways to connect them: balanced (122-style) and unbalanced (147-style). Both carry also the mains power, the 122-style switches speed through an 60V DC offset on the balanced lines, the 147-style has a mains power switch that switches a relay, just Google for 6 pin Leslie connector.
