I originally started off with NiMH. The best results I got was 4 of 7.2vdc RC-battery cells connected in series. Then middle connection was com. I had then marked connections +-8 and +-16. Then they stabilize at 7.2 and 14.4 respectively. I am thinking about trying this again, but only with MFOS variable supply with caps/batteries instead of a transformer and bridge rectafier. However, my problems are surrounding a reasonable battery monitor system. I suck at programming as well. SIGH!
