your dialing a number with extensions off a local exchange. So dial the main number (1843808393), wait for that to pick up, then dial the extension. Unfortunately, Sam does not have his own town yet... :-)

Please check the number and try again." I rarely make international calls, sorry if this wasn't obvious.
