2021-05-06 09:36:56 +0000 UTCwould it be the coils??? 1800 + cycles would still be intermittent use, some of the relays are constantly on only to be switched off sometimes. but yes heat will be the factor, got a little bit of a plan, the cases are removeable. did some tests yesterday keeping one running, sure its fine, even used way more than specified its gunna take a good while to wear out. luckily it isnt in a machine that needs to be used every day loll

2021-05-06 06:59:25 +0000 UTCIt isn’t just the clock amplifier that is going that quick. 1 relay in each of the flip flops whenever not activated is also going off. Only getting a break when that step is active. Tbh this could actually be done with a handful less relays making it like a bit counter sort of setup but aaaah eeeh aaah when was doing it the conventional way ever fun hahahaha
