so just touching on a project that has gone up today! making set of DJ decks out of lego, wow was that a big project indeed.

I will be doing a video going more into the build of it in a couple of weeks but I thought I should have a quick chat about it. also here was the schematic I used for the vinyl electronics, as I only had about 3 weeks over the Christmas holidays to get this done

it was useable enough to work but like I said I ended up using one of these mad things

as the fader, which is a specialised fader based on a gear system and digital potentiometers with loads of adjustments it was truly quite a crazy thing to figure out

Each of the decks had 4 lego motors going round a central axle to give it enough torque and also to combat the warbling from less Motors.
