Build Forum
Added 2020-01-16 14:26:36 +0000 UTCso as I put out more module projects, I was speaking on Todds community post. I think its probably good to make a build forum for it. to solve any issues, new ideas or if people have done stuff with the kicad files or what not. so I can join it to my site and Patreon.
what forum platform do you all think is best?

2020-01-17 17:35:07 +0000 UTCI pretty much second the idea of a real Web forum, be it Discourse... Or phpBB :) It's a personal taste but I feel that phpBB is much more lisible, but I'm biased by being an old fart on the Web. A Discord server would be a nice idea to chat around builds and stuff around 'em and may compliment a forum very well.
2020-01-17 14:13:46 +0000 UTCForum is a good idea - if you can avoid spam, or get an admin to monitor and delete it. Its pretty much the standard way of sharing info with community members. Your current Web hoster may supply a forum as an extra feature. It will cost a little bit more a month, but they set it all up for you. You could go for a third party forum hosting site - also costing money per month, but watch out for hidden costs and limitations (traffic and /or parts per month) I don't think Sam is very developer like (no offence intended mate), so installing and setting it up yourself should be a last resort. Or get a friend to do it. As an alterative to forums, how about online chat - discord springs to mind. It's a chat system for gamers and open source projects https://discordapp.com/open-source
