Howdy, folks! ToTellStories chiming in for the first time in a while (actually, it’s been a year)!
Our ever-intrepid John Paizo Jr. (AKA Thurston, AKA OnCallGM) is currently at GAMA preaching the good word of Starfinder, Pathfinder, and all of Paizo’s products. That means you get to hear about his latest monster from ME instead: the ever-gross Rotborn!
Our awesome team artist SaltyJub has given Thurston some amazing artwork to turn into nasty things to throw at players, and as the Rot creeps over the world of Tyne, it affects everything it touches. Early on in our development, we discussed that we didn’t want to make too many “Rot(insert creature here)” monsters. Well, I think that the other critters that fall in this vein (like Rot Flies) Rot Marrows, and Creatures of Rot are all pretty distinct and provide unique insight into the ways of the Rot. …Mostly how it’s pervasive, which, for a setting called “Rotgrind,” makes a lot of sense.
While Thurston is away, I’m mapping up a storm in advance of the launch of our next season of Rotgrind, which Zoran talks about in our February update. It’s gonna be fun on a bun, y’all!
