UNFINISHED C64 vid.

You just need another arduino (10 digital outs), MT8808ae, BC547B, 10k resistor, a bunch of wire, then write up some code to run the keyboard to do all the setup things (see key64tapper) but instead of reading input just play the keystrokes so that it will wait appropriate times and hit all the keys to setup everything (the keyboard can serve as a terrible mouse). Then just have to sort out the midi timing, if you send as fast as midi allows, mssiah or the c64 will drop messages or corrupt them and do random things. I would really like to have midi control of the wavetables though, and if nobody else will carry athat torch, I will see it through. Somehow.

2019-11-22 14:53:46 +0000 UTCAwesome! I love the idea if bringing new life these old classics. I grew up on an Amiga 500, wonder if that would have something similar? Feels like the C64 has a bit more of a reputation for its sound chip. Also, great show in Stockholm last night, and awesome to be able to say say hi to you afterwards. Went home with a smile on my face, and smiled all the way to work in the morning wearing my new snazzy tshirt :P
