Whats on the bench this week?

so I have just got back, and im back for most of the next 3 weeks to get further on the gameboy megamachine (sort out the analog routing finally! plenty of trials and tribulations to talk about there!). Write some songs, and also do the odd smaller project here and there for some vids.

This being the first one. I picked it up at CEX Cardiff. because I remembered I had the boards at the bottom of the image, these are basically a means to control the sound chip (SN76489‎) it can even control the extra fm sound chip that was in the Japanese master systems. (at some point im thinking of building that in. but not for this one).

So what im going to do is build it onto the 19inch rack blank panel you see under the master system, and build into it all of the midi Control change commands as knobs and switches. in essence turning it into a synth.

Im hoping it will be a straightforward project. ill be video documenting it.

Then next stop The MEGADRIVE.... (or genesis if your from the states)

anyway! I have a handful other things to get done then boom im gunna get on this later tonight
