Word Eater - Bestiary - PDF

The Word Eater has been a concept enemy (and even character) of mine for many years. It embarrassingly came from my desire to eat my textbooks as a teenager to instantly learn the topic I was studying. So, from that concept, the word eater was born! I imagined these enemies to be selfish evil bastards who stalk ancient ruins, extracting all sorts of magical texts to be imbued into their skin. Then later, in a fight or ritual, they can summon the magic on a whim!
When we ever get time, I would love to develop the word eater into an archetype for people’s characters. I think the concept is cool for those who like implementing tattoos mechanically into their character. Some of you may instantly bring up the magical tattoos rules for Pathfinder Second Edition, and I too think it’s really cool! A more fleshed out version of those rules in a balanced archetype would be dope. As with this concept, you can have a more melee focused spell caster, ranged, a more dex build one, and much more! I hope we can develop that some day.
