its cool! however there is 1 roadblock I'm trying to get them to sort that I think is kind of imperative for a sequencer and has stopped me from progressing with it, and that's the fact you can't play in a drum beat live, then adjust the steps in a step adjust menu, seems odd to me it wasn't thought about, its a really cool sequencer but its sort of stopped me figuring it out more.... don't get me wrong all the other features are pretty crazy cool. but just that function is sort of missing, hopefully ill sit and figure it out but its a case of having to remaster it all

2019-08-23 02:09:52 +0000 UTCHave you had a chance to demo the Pioneer Toraiz Squid? It looks like a 16 Track Beatstep Pro with 4x4 pads instead of 8x2. Still only 2 cv/gate out pairs and no separate pitch, but for an all in one stand alone sequencer it might be more practical in the long run than multiple BSPs (may Arturia forgive me for saying it.) It is supposed to be for "DJs" but I think once you get to hardware control of midi instruments you're out of that area.
