Warning labels exist so Lala doesn't give it a taste. I like to think she has gold coins in her fly-traps to help grind food in them cause it's resistant to acid and corrosion. What do plant people want? Nutrients. Rare metals and minerals included.

Anyway, you were so focused on the bandits at Olegs outpost you never brought up the farther away camp, which you'd killed four people at, after the quest posting AS STATED by Thurston.
