Attack Release 2.0

heres the next installment, with a push button that can be used to trigger it. then also a gate/trigger switch, which is useful. i tend to just use Trig, which turns it into an attack decay. but both are useful!! plus a handful more components with convert the gate signal into a trigger signal before entering the circuit!

People have asked about adding the function of looping this, im thinking about it. but its very tough to do without considerably increasing the component count (unless im missing something?) something like a comperator needs to be involved to sense the end of the attack section, and then flip itself off for the decay section, sense the end of that and flip itself back on again. But to do this with a handful of components isnt gunna be easy. i had a weird thought that maybe its possible with a flip flop and a vactrol! i will try it later on. But any ideas! please suggest, any way that works, aslong as its under 5 or so extra components haha.

Hi everyone! For those who wants to go further I found this amazing schematic for a complete and powerful ADSR : https://www.schmitzbits.de/adsr.html. - I'm talking about the last schematic - Just get rid of all 220 resistors to get super fast attack decay or release. 2M2 resistor can be replaced by 1M and it's better logarithmic // same for the capacitors, replace the 10u by a 1u and the 2u2 by whatever you want (small : smaller ADR, big : longer - depends! I put two 1uF in parallel I think) . Oh, I made a demo here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3iWH0vNEqs

Cheers

best to search for 1uf polyester :) as thats the most common! and will stop the electrolytics taking over your search bar haha

Looking at building this but seem to be having trouble finding a 1UF capacitor for some reason! any chance of a link to the ones you use?
