CPU MOD MODULE FROM GAMEBOY MEGA MACHINE

So here is a design built upon the Circuitbenders.co.uk LTC1799 mini circuit board. Which is used to inject oscillator signals into any piece of electronics that is clocked by a crystal. I have only tried this circuit with a gameboy, but it will work with anything that the LTC1799 works with, check the circuitbenders site to see what that is! even a lot of modern effects pedals aswell as the sparkfun wav trigger!!!

The circuit around the LTC1799 is just to mix in the actual speed control of the LTC1799 with extra CV inputs. .....  This allows you to add sequences to the machine you are controlling Frequency modulation and all that.

I've found you control it with too much extreme up and downs causes the machine to crash, but you can take it pretty far! if you saw even in my last gameboy mega machine update i was really modulating the gameboys quite heavily.

I will be sharing this circuit with the second Gameboy megamachine VLOG in a few days! but i thought it would be of interest.

ALSO! later this evening ill be adding High pass to the Simple ms20 filter... as i need that for the gameboy megamachine. and depending how it goes ill have a SIMPLE VCA out the gates too :)

PEACE

touch the bare wire on one side, then on the other and see what happens. usually it doent really matter!

How do you figure out which leg of the crystal this would go to?

This is perfect. Simple and clean.
