hey dennis! depends on the pedal. it wont break it. thats fine, it may effect the synth differently but all in experimentation. if your concerned, you can pull the synth signal down using an attenuator before, i tend to just plug them straight in. ..... sometimes, the only side effect is you turn on the effect and it comes out quieter, so i counteract that by turning down the synth level :)\
