Hey everyone! Your resident wizard here with some BIG updates for you!
If you have the time, please fill out this google form giving your honest and constructive feedback! We'd love to hear from you and on how we can improve. https://forms.gle/nLB6caxisiocTFns5
After some great feedback from our viewers, we decided to adjust the show's complication system and provide you with more direction on what complications will make it into the show. Along with making it cheaper, so more people can join in the havoc!
We've decided to take our Antagonist tier—which allows folks to submit complications—and merge it into our Traveler ($5) tier.
The reason for doing so is twofold: to get more complications from our supporters, and to compensate for the current state of global affairs(boo recession). We recognize cash is tight everywhere, so we wanted to find ways to serve you all better, and have some more fun doing it!
For the show, it has been highly awkward when someone rolled a natural one, just for it to be hero-pointed so the only negative consequence comes from the complication. We've now adjusted it to this:
"Should a player roll a natural one, the player cannot hero-point it, and must bear the burden of their miserable luck. And lo, they shall also complicate, for they must suffer the true wrath of their Patron gods."

Before the month is over, we will be deleting the tier, so people will not be charged more than $5 USD (hopefully). Those already in the Traveler tier will be able to submit complications very soon, as we get things adjusted.
The tier has to be deleted, which you should see shortly after reading this post, so if you find yourself somehow not a Patron randomly. Then please double check Patreon, as you may need to re sign up if you wish to still submit complications.
If you were still charged the 7 USD and Patreon did not remove you or adjust you at all, please message us or DM Zoran on discord to help compensate you.
The issue we've been having lately is finding a suitable podcast host that isn't draining our bank account. It takes -a lot- of money to run a production like this, so making sure your support isn't being sunk into something that isn't helping you or us is a big priority.
We're looking for a new host that doesn't gouge us for hosting all of these shows. So if a RSS feed or a version of our podcast randomly disappears, please check our twitter or here on Patreon for new links. Those who follow the Patreon RSS feed should be good still, as that shouldn't be affected.
This is also why you haven't seen some streams not show up as an audio only versions. We'd be charged a lot for making another "line" for another show. And we've seen folks get upset when we combine all the shows in one stream when they just want to listen to one show. So we're doing our best to keep things clean for you.
Expect this adjustment to come in the coming weeks as we search for a new host.
In the future we will be experimenting with streaming our Abomination Vaults campaign on the Narrative Declaration Channel! Youtube streaming seems to solve the issue many have when someone arrives to a stream late and misses out on everything that happened at the start. Streaming on Youtube and enabling the DVR feature allows you to simply pan back and watch from the beginning or back to spots you didn't quite hear well.
Encase it wasn't clear, we are NOT considering moving the other shows to Youtube's streaming side as of this time. Depending how our community likes this test with Abomination Vaults and how the overall industry goes, things may change. For now though, we're dedicated on keeping Rotgrind and Rotgoons on Twitch.
The live streams are one of the major things that keep this production running. So thank you to those who take the time and watch us live. A lot of our motivation and energy comes from seeing all of you there rooting us on and reacting to what's going on.
Thank you all for your ongoing support! If you ever have a question, please send us a direct message!
