Patreon June Update

Hope everyone is safe and is doing well!

We want to start making these monthly updates to keep everyone in the loop. Along with getting feedback from everyone on how we’re doing. It has been stupid busy for us, but we’re now turning our attention on what more we can offer you.  Firstly, for our 75+ tier members. We have our tokens and images being prepped right now. We had to wait for some episodes to go so you wouldn’t get spoiled via the story.

Okay, time for some other stuff!   We wanted to find more things to offer everyone on the Patreon. Cause I personally am a bit upset about how we’ve been distributing things here. And I’d like to spruce things up a bit.

One of things I am going to be adding in is an end credits to the show having everyone's names on it. It seems pretty low hanging fruit, but we thought we could incorporate that idea into the show itself with the servitors. Since it was put into practice, we’ve found that it hasn’t gone the way we’ve expected. Some episodes it doesn’t make sense to mention servitors, sometimes our GM or players forget to include the bit due to our focus going elsewhere. Yeah, I’m not happy with it either.  The credits will help with this, and I will do my best to get this section on track.

As for the complications, we are now making a new form with some helpful guidelines to better inform new and old patrons on how the system will work. In our last update post we explained that it will be more of a “join here to contribute to the pool.” system. The plan is still the same, and we will be making a dedicated post soon for the new form. Along with adding the post link to each preview VoD to help people know where to contribute.

 WarHams Podcast

Next month I hope to launch this. It’ll be me and OnCallGm talking about WarHams, Warhammer, and other various bits and bobs. Our conversations usually last multiple hours, so might as well bring you along with it.

In this podcast, we will be allowing Patrons to submit questions for us to answer. If you’ve ever been curious about how we do WarHams or anything else. We want to have a better formatted way to have you involved.

WarHams Monthly Panels

We want to start doing a monthly panel where you all can come ask the cast some questions! Patrons will be able to join our discord panel where for an hour or so we will be answering questions and joking with all of you. I cannot guarantee that every person will be able to attend all of the time, as some have jobs at random times. But I will do my best to wrangle them together for all of you to interrogate. We plan to start this next month.

Dedicated WarHams Discord

Originally the plan was to incorporate Warhams discussion into my discord due to us suspecting a small audience. A year later, we’ve seen that a dedicated discord might be in order.  We will be looking for moderators to help with the new discord. Along with planning with our very own Captain Zedek to host community events. This is also where we’d like to host the WarHams Panels.

Warhams Video Editor

For a while we’ve been trying to juggle our time around getting the WarHams videos and podcast versions ready in time for everyone. Due to our quick nature we’ve been trying to get the videos and audio up to everyone. We’re finding that the quality of the show is getting diminished due to this. So, we’re hoping to make some adjustments.  Firstly, the upload schedule will stay the same. You will get your preview VoDs and Mp3 files just fine.  What we’re adjusting is that the preview VoDs (which will be the raw VoD) will be uploaded on my side channel to help manage things a bit better. We’re also hiring a video editor and having that person edit the sound effects and music with the main video. While also using that audio for the podcast version. It's been bothering me a lot, and attempts to remedy this have been a struggle. So I apologize on my part for the poor quality.

WarHams Fantasy

Thank you all for making this an exciting adventure! The initial response to WarHams Fantasy has been wonderful, and we’re so pleased that people are enjoying it so far. Me and the crew wanted to say thank you so much for helping us break 1k concurrent viewers on Twitch. Here is hoping for 2k and more!

WarHams Animated

Magnificgal has been doing amazing work for us on WarHams Animated. And we will try to do better to release progress posts on these as it advances. We wanted to make a call for any other potential animators who follow us to send us their portfolio if they’re interested in working with us! We’d love to get more animators involved in the project, and we’d love to hear from you!

Birthday Party!

My birthday is on June 20th, and I will be hosting a long livestream with games that can include a lot of people. So if you wanna come along, ask some questions, hang out, and make some laughs. I’d like to invite you to the birthday stream!
