Clarification
Added 2022-06-26 10:56:05 +0000 UTCSo I guess this’ll probably be the best time to let this all out. If you have noticed my absence or slowdown in art/commissions or even the fact that I’ve been radio silent on telegram. The last 3-4 months have been the hardest it’s been for me in a long time.
One of my partners sisters has been in our care for the past 2-3 years dealing with a long list of cancers and issues. (Not going to state all of them for privacy reasons.)
It appeared as if she was recovering well, but that took a steep dive recently. Currently she is in a medicated coma until final decisions are made by her surrounding family. I won’t give all the details as it’s not needed, however I will say that the chemo is no longer working and if she does wake, we are simply biding time.
Her two children have been staying over at our place at least 4-5 days in the week, so you can imagine how difficult my line of work is when I can only squeeze in the time when they are resting or absent. Hence the slowdown.
I’m still adamant on taking commissions (as I literally need them.) and working on patreon content, this is just a summary of everything that has been happening around me. It has been rough, but I’m a stubborn person, and used to hardships (unfortunately). Some of those that are closer to me has seen it, or heard it, especially my extended partners.
I don’t ask for charity or even pity, just the patience I need to work through this. There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes and I would just like to thank everyone for your patience and generosity. It took a lot to publicly state any of this, but I want to communicate it so it’s understood.
