Travel is cold and treacherous in the frozen wastes of the North. Blistering, frigid winds and the threat of exposure can strike a pervading fear in the hearts of adventurers just as well as any monstrous beasts rumored to dwell in the mountains. The Tribe of the Dead Yeti fear not the elements nor the fearsome creatures that lurk within them. Hardened by the land and cautious of those who would trespass in their territory, the Tribe of the Dead Yeti ensure that no one travels through the North unimpeded. Those who conceal their intentions or refuse to pay tribute to Vorsanna, the Mourning Mother, are greeted with violent hostility. As the party makes their way up a narrow and winding mountain pass, they walk unknowingly into an ambush.
