Jillian is a travelling showman and gambler, pursuing manipulative mayhem and debauchery in service of a dark force. When he stumbles upon the players, he will use his relentless charm and performative ability to gain their trust, and then offer the players the chance to up the stakes for a promising reward.
Jillian travels on a small, rickety wooden carriage dressed in tattered red velvet curtains and pulled by a single horse. The players can encounter him on a rural road or within any urban environment. Dressed in a tailored red velvet suit with a large purple rose pinned to the lapel, Jillian first appears put-together, if somewhat quirky. But when he smiles a bit too widely to eagerly greet the party, he reveals a set of teeth that all have been filed down to resemble that of a shark's, hinting at sinister intentions.
"Salutations!" he exclaims. "Would you beautiful fine folk like to win an enchanted rose? The magic is real and the game is free of charge!"
