If I had a dime for every time an Italian Submarine got rammed by a British Destroyer during Operation Pedestal, I’d have 2 dimes, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

2025-05-09 21:35:24 +0000 UTCGreat video! The forces of Task Force F were really put through the grinder, but they managed to do their duty. It was also quite interesting to see that the Italians had some interesting plans to attack the ships, with the modified planes. I can only imagine how surreal it was for the troops on the carrier to watch the bombs bounce on the deck and then into the sea, without anything happening. That's something straight out of Looney Tunes.
