Added 2021-08-10 16:56:42 +0000 UTCSo uhh some of you probably already know, but last Friday, the ceiling of our house started leaking tons of water throughout over half of our house. Our kitchen, bathroom, bed room, and living room were soaked. A majority of the walls and ceilings need to be rebuilt.
It was a really scary moment. Marietta and I were just hanging out on our computers like any other day when suddenly we hear water in the kitchen. Our whole night came to a screeching halt as we both realized the water was coming from several rooms. I grabbed as many towels as I could to try and contain but the water just kept coming. We called the fire department who turned off the water and electricity. We now have to stay at Mari's parents house while our house is being repaired. It seems like it will be a while.
Nothing of sentimental value was lost. Everything else will be replaced by insurance. My plushies are ok. My computer and video game consoles are ok. Kujo, our pet hedgehog, is doing ok as well. Most importantly we are ok.
My computer is still at our house but thankfully the room it is in did not receive any water. I don't have the living space for it at our parents' house, so I'm without a PC for a while. Which also means no digital art can be done.
I'm hoping to use this time to try and get back into traditional art. In the meantime I'm sorry if I don't upload enough stuff here for a bit while things get settled.
