April's PSP: Dark Urge

As long as I love the game and their character design, I've been feeling pretty low about this one... I think it might have to do with the low light contrasting with the pale scales? Of the fact I wanted it to resemble the original character really good and spent way too much time hyperfocusing on stupid details, or the fact I'm simply not good at scalies? I don't know really. Had to call it finished before I became too frustrated with this.
