New Supporter Tier Announcement: Media Preserver

With the release of the Target: Game of Life video tomorrow, I will be launching a new tier of supporter that I hope will let us do more of the TTS activities: The Media Preserver Tier.

This will be a Patreon-exclusive tier that will serve a unique purpose, as instead of the support going toward general channel expenses, funds will be put into the "Preservation Fund" which will be used to acquire some of the more expensive titles off of eBay like Capital Punishment, which normally goes for anywhere from $180-$350 for a copy. I will then use this copy of the game in order to properly port it to TableTop Simulator (like I was able to do with Gay Monopoly and Oy Vey), allowing the games to not only be cataloged, but now available to play for everyone without them needing to be shaken down by the resale market.

I will be making a unique chat for Media Preservers, which we will use to discuss which games we should not only be looking out for on the markets, but also voting on which game will get ported next. I'll also plan on doing playthroughs of these new ports (like with Gay Monopoly), so of course those that helped to get the game on the platform will get first dibs on trying it out.

This is a relatively new idea, so I am excited to try it out with you all! The price of the tier will be a good deal higher than the others, mainly due to the frankly wild cost of games in the resale market for titles that haven't already been ported. The amount that I decided on will allow us to get multiple high-interest titles every year instead of just maybe 1-3, so take a look tomorrow at 12 EST and see if this will be something you'll be interested in!
