The big 30 - WIP
Added 2021-01-07 09:07:29 +0000 UTCmy boy Rex turned 30 today. Damn, another milestone, wow *swoons* And yes, that's a penis as pyramid head. Don't ask questions ive been playing a lot of DBD lately.
But it's been ages since I've drawn art of Rex and Ray, and what better date than Rex's birthday and also the 3 year anniversary of them being engaged :y They've been together for like... 10 years now. Incredible, absolute favorite gay pairing. Wish I had that.
My first gay art of Rex and Ray was posted back on the 14th of Feb in 2010. But they've never had an "official" date for when they started dating so I just use that image as a placeholder. That said, when I posted that piece, both Rex and Ray were ""straight"" at the time so I only did it because I started to ship them and then said fuck it, they're gonna be canon gay. Goddamn, I cannot put into words how happy these boys make me.
Also, a little "story" to go with this. Originally Ray was gonna be nuzzling up to Rex but it was way more in character to have Ray on his phone while Rex gives him affection. Ray's probably scrolling through twitter looking at the state of the world all "I fucking hate this country." while Rex smooches him all "I know baby, I know."
Will I finish this at a decent time by tomorrow? I hope so. I tend to do better under the pressure of a deadline. Also it's nice to be able to do personal in between working on comms because god I needed it. Need that gay art to feed my gay heart.
