Thiraah Process!

So, as promised... I’m posting a more detailed process of how I normally color the face!
- Once the flats are done, I start drawing where the shadows should be. Getting this down took a bit of studying and practicing over time too, but generally the eye sockets, the jaw, and the nostril area are the most heavily shaded. It doesn’t have to be too neatly done, since on step 2...
- I then take the eraser tool and refine the shapes into something that looks better
- With a darker color I add some depth in some of the shaded areas
- I like to emphasis the eyes, so I usually make the eye sockets and eyelids even darker
- It might be hard to see... but this is where I add highlight to the cheeks, the bridge of the nose, and the chin
- Even darker color for the eyeshadow and some shiny spots and backlighting and voilà!
