This update has lots of stuff and really nothing you can do yet but look at it. So I'm doing a freebie.
The West tower is fleshed out. This is supposed to house the royal family. There is structure but I need searchable things and wrecked-up furnishings or something or you would just have to search it again later. A painting or two would be nice. I have been stuck a bit wondering what to put in there. More on that below.
The shop in the bazaar is ready, and the 'employees only' passages are started, but you can't do anything yet. There is also dark water (finally) in the bone pit, as planned. It looks better.
The screwdriver could be placed before it's used, so Bobobedo's shop now requires things you don't have yet. I don't want the game to be about finding things and putting them places, so I watched walkthroughs of old games I liked. The puzzles were pretty procedural, requiring the player to just go through obvious steps. I will have a few puzzles that require thought, and not sweat too much over the rest.
So, news: I put together a fresh roadmap and there are only about 15 major things left to do in the game, 5 more nsfw scenes, art for one more character, about 36 'bullet points' total. Some of this stuff will take a while to play. From where we now stand, it will take hours to finish playing Pervy. A game that takes maybe 4 hours to finish, given that you know exactly what to do, was my goal. It will take a lot longer for the average player. I think I have enough stuff, I just need to iron it out and implement. So all the inventory should be known and I can hide it all over the place at last, plan where the money goes, etc.
Also, because it's been so quiet, I'm thinking the recent work is still buggy. Getting testers has been difficult lately so I have started a fresh run-through. (The fight at the bridge is so lame, I have to find time to hack at it.) There were some new bugs in the older parts of the game, I should be back to Boedi's scene again soon.
Thanks to all my supporters, especially the athletic ones. If I can just get the last character in we should see some faster development.
