Year in Review
Added 2022-02-26 08:53:09 +0000 UTCHello again! 2/23 marks the one year anniversary of Lost in Laminate's last major update (version 8.0), and while I had hoped to have another big chunk of content ready by now, the data loss suffered in December unfortunately set that back rather considerably. That said, development has restarted and things are progressing well-- but I thought it would be fun to look back at everything else I released this past year as well!
Lost in Laminate (February): version 8.0 brought a whole bunch of content, the fan favorite bit clearly being everything revolving around Mistress Isabella.
Laminate Calling (July): my first attempt at writing a game in Twine's sugarcube language, and featuring a bunch of systems I prototyped in LiL, I generally refer to this as a potential sequel. I'm struggling a bit with narrative, but the exhaustion/arousal mechanic is working great, and has been used more extensively in my other major project...
Stables of Cyn (October): a large (and growing quickly) game focused on ponyplay, Stables will likely have a new update soon-ish, taking it somewhere near 200,000 words, and featuring its first three main segments, a relationship system, and a rather complicated character upgrading/development system I'm quite proud of. The focus is quite a bit more niche than more general latex fetishism, but if you haven't tried it yet I invite you to do so!
Torean Role Picker (December/January 2022): a miniproject with limited release, this character builder and role explainer is primarily aimed towards the Torean Discord server, but provides a lot of lore for folks interested in that as well. Also includes an entire section on male characters, which is something I'm trying to feature more heavily in my work.
All of these are hosted on my site, here: https://iconoclast.neocities.org/
I hope you've enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) my work! As always, thank you for the incredible support you've provided here on this Patreon. My work will always be released for free, but your tips and such have allowed me to upgrade my gear for writing, improve my workflow, and are just a great motivation. You continue to be incredible.

Nothing to say you can't release the works to the fans anyway. IE, writers like SlutWriter do commissions but also release it to the fans. A commission tier that lets them bank x words and they can choose when to cash in.

2022-03-03 05:52:50 +0000 UTCOooh, good suggestion. I am building out a small area the player can explore before entering Club Lush (which is now harder to get into!). Its suppose to be a more "extreme" area, so something like that might fit well.

2022-03-03 03:13:35 +0000 UTCI have given it some consideration, and I have been approached by a few folks seeking to commission me, but ultimately I've found I only have a limited amount of time to write things-- and its more "fair" and feels less like work if I pursue my various projects released unprompted and for free instead.

2022-03-03 03:12:27 +0000 UTCIn relation to Lost In Laminate, if the possibility of exploring the city of Akorea with Corinth is still on the table, an alternative that they could visit is a breathplay club where toreans and kinky tourists can indulge their breathplay desires, and if they run out of credits, can end up taken as breathplay slaves for an exclusive society on Torei. Just a suggestion, but the idea came to me upon watching some of the FetishKitsch videos. 😁

2022-02-26 10:08:29 +0000 UTCOut of interest, have you given any thought to writing fanfiction/ original erotica on a commission basis, to flex your creative muscles in a new way? I'm no writer nor dev, but being able to flex those mindjuices without worry about scripting a-b could be a bit liberating. Being able to write about random anime girl 1 being abducted and turned into a ponygirl could be a new thing. :)
