1 - Fincher's a genius. He did "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", which was great... but he didn't get to finish the Millennium trilogy. If you read at all, and you haven't read it, I can't recommend it more highly. The final book, The Girl Who Played With Fire, has one of the most satisfying conclusions of all-time; I go back and read that ~100 page sequence from time to time, it's so fucking good. 2 - Originally, the movie was supposed to just cut to black right after Mills shot John Doe. Fincher *hated* that they made him add more to the ending... sorry for him, but I think it's fine. It's not like it lightening the movie up to any real degree. And I like the final quote, "I agree with the second part." 3 - What's in the box?!?!?

I'm gonna keep pushing for "Walk Hard" above all, but I've seen "The Count of Monte Cristo" reacted to by a few other reactors recently and I am reminded that it's a fucking banger movie. Damn good and satisfying.

Like... not a huge deal (especially if it's what got you to choose it, I guess), but it's cool to not know that going in 4 - I gave a better synopsis of Walk Hard in the comments; I guess you missed it. Oh well
