Dragon and an air boat
Added 2024-11-23 20:04:31 +0000 UTCAlso, bluesky version of the post :
"Went for a ride on a weird boat!" β Bluesky
Just barely got this together for this week's game post! One of the first 4 levels you can choose from is a big energy hive, the boss of which is, predictably, a bee! Though, i suppose the Hives are visually based on hornet nests, don't worry about that~
Air boat's gonna dip a little when you step on it later, and the fans will slow their animation down in a programmatic fashion. It'll be fun!

Anyway, thanks for looking! I hope you enjoy your weekend~

That's fair, it just felt weird not to say something and finally built the courage to. Appreciate the response explaining your side, I was worried I was being rude π

2024-11-23 21:18:16 +0000 UTCLong story short, because you guys like my art, and I felt comfortable showing it here. The posts often get similar likes / comments to drawings posted here, so I've been under the impression people liked seeing them, even if they don't care about the game itself. My Patreon work schedule is Mondays, and 2 Thursdays monthly. If you specifically dislike seeing my gamedev posts, by all means, please ignore them.

2024-11-23 21:14:55 +0000 UTCProbably going to be a controversial comment, Forgive me. If game dev is separate to your Patreon ... then why is it posted on a fairly regular basis with the same reason each time - Usually it's a one-off or a link in a bio as a side project vs being posted somewhere unrelated. Not bashing, but stating the thought out. No harsh feelings. Just that I'm interpreting it as you're wanting us to follow up on the development or bring interest to the game that we didn't subscribe to you for on an unrelated platform/project. Edit: To add, I just checked before I included it. 4 posts about the game in October. 4 posts about the game in November. I haven't checked what weeks they're on but appears to be every Friday.. Sorry, but it's the only way I can express my point.
