Set Update - Blake's House and Subway Train
Added 2023-02-06 02:01:02 +0000 UTCHey! I've been real busy on the weekends (probably should stop doing that!) getting stuff for the next comic together.
There's still a bit of work to do, but the sets are coming along!
There are 3 sets for Passiontail Isle 6 (In Too Deep is 5):
Blake's House, Subway Car and Charlie's Dorm.
The subway car is only in the first scene, and charlie's place is as well. Both can be reused for a lot of pics, (i've had to draw a few subway cars so far, and i'll do it again lol), but the one that's going to get a lot of mileage is Blake's House.
I've got work on that, and the subway to show off so far.

The script for the comic calls for the exterior front, entryway, living room, hallway and bedroom. The other rooms aren't going to get much work for now, to keep up the pace, but they'll need to be figured out at some point.
Living room has a woodstove which will probably get removed, since Passiontail is a hawaii-like tropical climate, but i think it looks cool.
The subway car needs some more work too, but it's got sections for small and medium sized passengers. I might make some stable-like standing sections for large quadrupeds, but at some point, you just need to use different public transport. Poor daisy can't fit on this thing!
But yeah! I just wanted to show you what's been going on in the background. I hope you're excited for the next comic!
(also don't mind my placeholder Blake / Aurora / Jenny / Charlie. They're to scale, and i think they're funny~)

The bathroom is now 20 feet underground, and the wall is gone. I like how it looks! I might move it to that closet, but that’s for coats and stuff?

2023-02-07 05:50:02 +0000 UTCI imagine, at least for intercity transit, Daisy-sized critters would have to sit in Gondola-type rail cars. Probably with a little speaker on one end asking all occupants to keep legs and arms and flippers and tails inside the car at all times. Also, I love how Blake and Charlie and to an extent Jenny get roughly accurate models, but Aurora looks more like a chess piece than anything else.

2023-02-06 21:38:49 +0000 UTCWhat I'd suggest? Get rid of the bathroom in the kitchen. Move it somewhere else if you need a guest bathroom but that whole wall can come down and you'd have a sweet open space for entertainment

2023-02-06 21:38:35 +0000 UTCNeat details here though I'm wondering why the kitchen isn't open floor plan into the living room like most homes these days. Usually you don't see homes with sectioned off kitchen areas except in older homes from the 40s-80s.
