The text on the like, non-diegetic chat messages can be atiny bit hard to make out, but you're not really meant to read it all at a glance like speech.
I kind of wanted them to actually be diegetic, there are some holograms in Passiontail, if you remember from Start With A Kiss, but this is mostly for the reader's benefit.
