Harescent is neat. Imagine seeing this sticky fuzzy ball of buddies floating past your window at 2am~
I really need to do some worldbuilding for the architecture. The setting has some kind of futuristic stuff, some scifi here and there, but for the most part my buildings are all just 'what does a city look like'. I don't have a lot of practice in that area, though, and i want everything to be immediately relatable as well, so nothing that out there. I'll figure it out~

2021-09-12 17:28:27 +0000 UTCThis is all pretty well thought out! I've considered a lot of it before, in regards to how to make a setting suitable for creatures of many sizes. And unfortunately, there are probably some businesses that are run by small creatures, for small creatures, that a huge creature can't properly fit in, but you'd have to assume what they're selling isn't something someone huge would want to buy. I'm designing most places for like, 4 foot tall things, with accessibility considerations for those smaller or larger. Places like restaurants and streets. Also you'd think the big heavy creatures would be more safely situated at ground level, right? You don't want someone that weighs as much as a car stomping around in the flat above you!

2021-09-09 23:00:16 +0000 UTCI imagine you would see a lot of rubber-coated ramps, because stairs big enough for a Sylupo would be like small buildings to a smozumi. Ramps solve that so long as there's good grip. Also, bathrooms segregated by size instead of gender. This for the same reason as above, and also because they're all already naked. No way a Cragorus is using the same seat as a Vexitty. Roads would be mostly narrow 2-lane affairs with ample sidewalk room. Big emphasis on walkable cities instead of urban sprawl. Perhaps the Sidewalks would even have one part raised off the ground a couple feet so the little ones don't have to worry about being trampled by the goliaths. Crossing the road is also dangerous for small critters BUT since IRL squirrels and rats use traffic light cables and power lines to cross roads, maybe Haven uses a safer version of that: A bunch of square, hollow tubes could be suspended beneath the traffic wire hanging over the road that littler critters can crawl through while bigger buddies take the regular crosswalk. All lobbies must be large enough to fit a Mystipiller, but individual rooms can be any number of sizes. Typically facilities and housing for smaller critters would be on the first floor to reduce the relative distance to the exit. Hotels and apartments for instance might have a first floor 12 feet tall, with 2 sub-floors' worth of pockoon-sized apartments, and the big guys live on the 2nd and third floors.
