Actually, I'm pretty sure primates are the only animals to have uvulas (which includes humans). In any event, I was never a fan of that line of reasoning, since humans are also the only animals to be able to speak and do all the intelligence-requiring things that anthros can do. Does that mean you're going to make all your characters mindless ferals, since otherwise those would be "only human" traits?
