So, Tim wanted a stealth sinossum/zallaby, but in a movie theater, and rynring wanted anybody hooking up in the transit system. Because i didn't want to figure out what a movie theater seat a kangaroo-thing could sit in would look like, i combined the two ideas.
Also drawing a subway train takes a while, as it turns out. This one took quite a while! But it's pretty fun, and the context the picture requires kind of needs to show the place, and its inhabitants.
Of course jenny can pick out the gross slurping sounds from across the train car, she's an expert in the field.

You've been around for quite a while, i'm glad you're still enjoying the stuff i make! I love shots that are like, an actual scene, but they definitely take longer to do and it's a hard call when i'm trying to get multiple patron suggestions out in a day.

I had some scripts for them to, to turn them into full characters, but we couldn’t get to that. I’m a sucker for a good background honestly, but they always take a while. Sometimes it’s worth it, sometimes it might be better spent drawing another pound. I’m glad you appreciate it though, makes the time worthwhile

2021-08-12 18:23:50 +0000 UTCAs someone who has always really appreciated your backgrounds for some reason, I'd like to say that the time you spend on this part of the drawing is always worthwhile for me at least. I like to actively look at the background when it's detailed, and this one's great! And btw, background characters are also always good. Most artists I know don't really bother with those, which is a shame!
